ok, things werent as smooth-sailing this week compared to last week. mentor threw me to play around with tt machine on my own and i felt so lost. there's so many icons/tabs/buttons/steps to click and follow! i tried to write down the steps but i think i only caught 50%. hahahaha. siao liao la..

was also asked to prepare my own mobile phase on my own. i was supposed to top up a 1L volumetric flask with water to a mark. i was greedy and i poured alot, until the water exceed the mark. LOL. wonderful. pour water oso dunno how to pour. lol. so i throw all water away and redo. hopefully no one saw how stupid i was. aiya, shld have said i come from nus, den wont throw ntu's face. LOL.

and when i was left to run my own standards on my own, the results look damn weird. hahaha. so i faster call mentor to see wad went wrong. end up is tt the machine pump got prob, it's not sucking the mobile phase. hahaha. scare me sia, tot i spoiled it. hahaha.
engineer coming tmr to repair the machine. i hope they dun come lo. hahahhaa. dun come den i will haf nth to do for a very good reason. hahahah.

the lab opp mine got new temp staff, they are a level grad waiting for results. so we asked how much is their pay. lol. $7/hr lehhh. wahh we uni undergrad less than $5/hr. juz becos we are INTERNS, which implies erm cheap labour. hahahha. mentor was saying hsa still has to pay us when we are learning sth from them. (but erm, we oso helping yall to do yr work leh) hahaha.

and i feel that mentor is expecting quite alot from me, asked me to read up on certain stuff and the next day, she asked if i got read up anot. wah, internship oso mus do hw after work one ah. and it's not like over a weekend leh, my nighttime v precious one u noe.. haha.
and on my part, IA is only pass/fail. i just need to report for work on time, dun leave early, do wad is required and not screw things up, do my logbook and report can liao. im not expecting to perform sooo well that hsa is going to write a letter of appreciation to NTU CAO eh. hahaha.

week 2 only and im sian alrdy, good job yq. hahaha. seems like lab work is really not my cup of tea? at least im meeing up with frens next thurs after work, and cny public hols is coming. u can see how 'motivated' i am uh. hahaha.
